Here we go. Remember the week-long Dance in Film workshop that Lauren and Jana were giving in the Half Term for the residents of Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate?
Well here is the film that we made together with the kids group. It is their film, they made costumes, did the camera, sound, performance…..well done 🙂

Shooting days.
The past few weeks were wonderful and intense, filled with ups and downs, minor and major crises and summing up everything worked out more than perfectly well. Culminating in the inspiringly beautiful two past shooting days. Thanks to the hands-on, a hundred percent engaged crew. Lovely working with you all. Thanks for the deeply beautiful performance by Lauren Bridle and Davin King! Thanks to Michael Angelov and Jacob Robinson doing an amazing job behind the cameras, thanks to Oezden Yorulmaz for sound and assisting all over the place and Victor Monserrate for grand support and building the beautiful raft. Next step: Editing suite and following Alberto Santamaria working on his composition with his musicians and actress Aischa-Lina Loebbert. Remains exciting…

Durham Wharf Residency – ReachOutRCA Workshop:
Yesterday we presented our idea for a dance film workshop for the Residents of Alexandra & Ainsworth estate to the Tenants & Residents Association at A&A estate. We are pleased to have received positive feedback and can now start planning the workshop in detail. The one week workshop about Storytelling, Dance & Film will be build upon our project Something to do with my Father and give a mixed group of Residents of the estate the chance to create their own short film.
We are very excited and looking forward to developing ideas, and meeting lots of interesting, creative people.
